(Phase 1) for the recruitment of high-caliber medical faculty. This

💡 Cadre Downgrading Rule: If a highly qualified candidate
applies for a department where only a higher cadre (e.g., Associate Professor)
is advertised, the screening committee reserves the right to offer a lower
cadre post (e.g., Assistant Professor) if the higher post remains unfilled.
Eligibility
Criteria
The upper age limit and required teaching/research experience will be
explicitly calculated as of the phase cut-off date (May 28,
2026).
1. Educational Qualifications
·
Medical Candidates: A recognized
post-graduate qualification (MD/MS) in the respective discipline from an
MCI/NMC recognized institution. For super-specialties, an M.Ch./DM degree is
mandatory.
·
Non-Medical Candidates: A Master’s degree
and a doctorate Ph.D. in the respective discipline from a recognized
university.
2. Teaching & Research Experience
(Post-MD/MS/Ph.D.)
·
Professor: 14 years of teaching and/or research
experience.
·
Additional Professor: 10 years of
teaching and/or research experience.
·
Associate Professor: 6 years of
teaching and/or research experience.
·
Assistant Professor: 3 years of
teaching and/or research experience.
3. Upper Age Limit
·
Direct Recruitment: 50 Years (for
Assistant and Associate Professors); 58 Years (for Professors and Additional
Professors).
·
Deputation Basis: 56 Years across all posts.
·
Age relaxations apply for
SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India guidelines.
Pay Scale &
Allowances
Selected faculty members will receive remuneration according to the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) matrix along with
applicable central allowances:

Professor: Level 14A (Entry Pay: ₹1,68,900/–
per month)
·
Additional Professor: Level 13A2+ (Entry
Pay: ₹1,48,200/– per month)
·
Associate Professor: Level 13A1+ (Entry
Pay: ₹1,38,300/– per month)
·
Assistant Professor: Level 12 (Entry
Pay: ₹1,01,500/– per month)
·
Allowances: Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) for
medical graduates, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA),
Transport Allowance, and National Pension System (NPS) benefits.
