AI Engineering Services Limited (AIESL), a prominent public sector Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) organization in India, has released an Internal Staff Employment Notice (Ref. Vacancy and Operational Frame

• Placement: Selected trainees can be assigned to any active AIESL base station across India during or after their training period depending on organizational demands.

Eligibility Criteria (As of May 01, 2026)

  1. Mandatory Service & Experience

• Applicants must be currently serving employees of AIESL.
• A minimum of 5 years of current practical aircraft maintenance experience on operating aircraft (as specified under DGCA CAR 66 guidelines).
• Out of the total experience, at least 2 years of continuous service must have been completed specifically within AIESL.

  1. Technical Qualifications

• Candidates must have successfully passed the DGCA-conducted knowledge examinations for the respective stream.
• B1 Category (Mechanical): Must have cleared all relevant B1 modules or hold a B1 DGCA License within AIESL’s capability.
• B2 Category (Avionics): Must have cleared all relevant B2 modules or hold a B2 DGCA License within AIESL’s capability.

• Note: Possession of a valid Radio Telephony (RT) License is preferred.

  1. Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 52 Years.
• Relaxations: Age relaxation policies apply for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and Ex-Servicemen categories in accordance with Government of India statutory guidelines.

Selection, Training & Service Bond

Selection Method

Applications will be scrutinized by a specialized evaluation committee. Candidates found fully compliant with the criteria will face an assessment framework or personal interview process to gauge alignment with current standard engineering practices.

Training & Progression

• Selected personnel will initially be designated as Trainee-AME until they secure the appropriate DGCA Type Rated License.
• AIESL will provide DGCA-approved Type Rated training (B1/B2) based on active fleet expansion layouts.
• Upon successful qualification, allocation to final functional groups (Group A or Group B) depends on performance matrices and specific hangar vacancies.

Service Indemnity Bonds

• General Service Bond: Trainees must execute an indemnity bond of ₹5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) to serve AIESL for a mandatory minimum period of 5 years from joining or until superannuation.
• Type Training Bond: Prior to starting actual fleet-specific type training courses, a separate secondary Type Training Bond must be signed as per standard company policy rules.
