Eligibility Criteria
(As of April 1, 2026)
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any stream or discipline from a recognized
University or Institute.
Age Limit: 20 to 28 years (Candidates must have been born between
April 2, 1998, and April 1, 2006).
Standard government upper-age relaxations apply (5 years for
SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, up to 15 years for PwBD).
Exclusions: If you have already undergone apprenticeship training
elsewhere, or have regular job experience of 1 year or more after graduation,
you are not eligible.
Selection Process
& Exam Pattern
There is no interview component.
The selection relies purely on a two-step testing system:
1.
Online Written Test (100 Marks | 60 Minutes):
o Subjects: General/Financial Awareness (25 qns), General English (25
qns), Quantitative Aptitude (25 qns), and Reasoning Ability & Computer
Aptitude (25 qns).
o Negative Marking: Yes. $\frac{1}{4}$th
of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for every wrong answer.
o Languages: Except for General English, the
test will be available in Hindi, English, and 13 regional languages.
2.
Local Language Test: Candidates
must demonstrate proficiency (reading, writing, speaking) in the specified
local language of the state they applied for.

Eligible candidates can
apply directly online through SBI's official networks:

Careers Portal or go directly to the IBPS
Registration Link.
2. Click on "New
Registration" and fill out your name, active mobile number, and email.
3. Complete the form by
selecting your preferred state, local language, and up to 3 preferred training
districts.
4. Upload your scanned
photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration.
5. Pay the fee (if
applicable) and submit your form.
