Civil
Civil Engineering में Degree, या मान्यता प्राप्त संस्था से तीन वर्षीय Diploma। कुछ departments (जैसे BRO के कुछ पद) में Diploma के साथ दो वर्ष का अनुभव भी मांगा गया है।
Electrical
Electrical Engineering में Degree या Diploma। कुछ departments में Diploma candidates के लिए संबंधित field में experience भी आवश्यक है।
Mechanical
Mechanical Engineering में Degree या तीन वर्षीय Diploma — department के अनुसार experience requirement अलग हो सकती है।
Telecom
Electrical, Electronics, Electrical Communications, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology या Instrumentation से संबंधित Engineering/Technology qualification।
